What is the deadline to submit an application?

Registration is now Closed for the 2019 season.
Check back in January 2020, when we will re-open the campership application for the 2020 camp season.

Is there an application fee?

There is a $25 application fee per family.  This fee will be refunded if your child is not granted a campership.

Where do I send my application?

Completed application form, application fee and copies of IEP pages and /or doctor's diagnosis must be returned either via mail or email to:

Do I need to fill out the camps application form?

Yes, Our application form is for funding purposes only. Camps will require completion of their own applications. 

What camps are participating? Where can I get more specific information about the camping programs?

Visit our Camp Program page for a listing of participating summer camps.  To obtain specific information about the camping programs offered by the camp in which you are interested, including dates of camp sessions, you must contact the camp directly. 

Do we need to visit the camp prior to attending?

The parent/guardian AND child must visit the camp and meet with a camp representative prior to the camping experience to ensure the camp is a good fit for your child. 

Do you provide transportation?

The Foundation does not provide transportation of any kind.

How much money can I expect for the campership?

A maximum of $1,000 for day camp programs and $1,500 for overnight /residential camp program is allocated for each child's camping experience.
